Successful Families offers training, internships and mentoring to individuals and groups in those services which we, as specialists and experts in the field, provide for high conflict separating and divorcing families.

Training opportunities include the following services:

  • Counselling (family, couple, reintegration, individual, child)

The internships are highly individualized and flexible in order to meet the learning needs and experience level of the trainee.

Some options are:

  • Attending a monthly group consultation meeting with a team member and other interns.
  • Receiving individual peer consultation on an as-needed basis or scheduled regularly.

Supplementing the above, trainees will have an opportunity to attend our regular team meetings and:

  • Participate in case presentations, learning how to present cases effectively.
  • Discuss ethical dilemmas and complex clinical issues.
  • Obtain education about relevant social science literature and pertinent legislation and case law.
